Adult Daycare



Crater District Area Agency on Aging is affiliated with two Adult Daycare Centers in the tri-cities area that offer a community- based, comprehensive program that provides a variety of health, social and other related support services in a protective and monitored setting.

The Daycare Programs Offer: Constant supervision Socialization with peers Continual activity choices Assistance during the day for persons with physical or mental impairments

Daycare Participants Include Adults who are:
  • Ambulatory or wheelchair bound
  • Limited in their ability to function independently in the home and in the community, but do not require 24-hour institutional care
  • Need support while recuperating from an illness

Services that are Provided:

  • Medication administration by certified staff
  • Daily activities (exercise, movies, games, crafts, ect.) Rest periods.
  • Supervision and assistance with personal care activities Information and referral.
  • Hot meals and snacks served daily by Crater District Area Agency on Aging
