For a child in need, love makes the difference.

Foster Grandparents give children the much-needed attention that can change their lives.
They help children learn to read, care for children with disabilities and offer loving care to children with special needs.
Foster Grandparents help young people to develop the skills, confidence, and the inner strength necessary to succeed in life.
Foster Grandparents are:
- Over the age of 60
- Can volunteer an average of 20 hours per week
- Have limited income
- Are in need of daily activities within your community
- Love children
Foster Grandparents receive:
- Pre-service orientations and monthly training
- Help with meals and transportation costs
- Supplemental insurance
- An annual physical examination
- A small stipend, for those who qualify
Where Foster Grandparents serve:
- Public Schools
- State institutions for the mentally retarded
- Daycare centers
- Homeless shelters
- Group foster homes
- Juvenile detention centers
- Headstart Programs Summer Programs
