Honoring Aging
with Purpose
Our team is made up of compassionate professionals dedicated to serving older adults, caregivers, and families with dignity and care. Led by strong leadership and grounded in community values, we’re here to listen, support, and make a meaningful difference every step of the way.
A Legacy of Service Since 1975
The Crater District Area Agency on Aging was founded in 1975 following a regional study that identified the growing needs of older adults in District 19. What began as a planning initiative through the Crater Planning District Commission soon evolved into a dedicated agency, committed to supporting seniors with essential services and resources.
Guided by the belief that every older adult deserves to age with dignity and care, the agency continues to serve as a trusted presence in the lives of seniors, caregivers, and families across our communities.
Our mission is to promote the dignity, independence, and well-being of older adults, adults with disabilities, and their caregivers by providing leadership, advocacy, and access to quality services and supports that enhance their quality of life.
Shaping an Age-Friendly Tomorrow—Together
We envision a community where aging is embraced with dignity, vitality, and purpose—where older adults, adults with disabilities, and caregivers are fully supported, connected, and empowered to lead fulfilling lives.
