Health Education

We offer engaging programs designed to inform, empower, and support older adults in living healthier, safer lives. From wellness workshops to safety tips, our goal is to provide the knowledge and tools seniors need to thrive—physically, mentally, and emotionally—across the Crater District.

Disease Prevention-Health Promotion

Offered primarily through our Friendship Cafes, this program brings older adults together to stay active, connected, and informed. From low-impact classes like yoga and exercise to year-round health and nutrition workshops, we create welcoming spaces where wellness and community go hand in hand.

Diabetes Prevention

Our Diabetes Prevention Program is here to support you in living a healthier, more vibrant life. In partnership with the CDC’s National Diabetes Prevention Program, our trained lifestyle coaches offer caring guidance to help you make lasting changes—like eating well, moving more, and managing stress. Together, we will take small steps that lead to a better quality of life and a lower risk of Type 2 Diabetes.

Medication Management

Participants receive helpful information about look-alike medications, possible side effects, and the importance of following their prescriptions to stay safe and healthy.

Support Groups

Caregivers are welcomed into a supportive group setting where they can access helpful community resources, learn practical problem-solving strategies, and connect with others who understand their journey.
